Tørvis Hotell is located in Marifjøra, a charming historic trading town, directly on the Lustrafjord, a side arm of the Sognefjord in Norway. Guests enjoy stunning fjord views and direct access to nature.

Arrival by Car:
Tørvis Hotell is easily accessible via scenic routes from the major hubs in Western Norway:

• From Sogndal Airport (SOG): approx. 45 minutes by car

• From Førde Airport (FDE): approx. 2.5 hours by car

• From Bergen: approx. 5 hours by car

• From Oslo: approx. 6 hours by car

Public Transport:

• Bus connections are available from Sogndal and other nearby towns.

• Taxi services can be arranged from via Sogndal Taxi from Sogndal Airport or nearby stations.

• From Oslo, you can take a bus to Sogndal via Vy, Norway’s bus company.

Tørvis Hotell offers cozy and historic rooms with fjord or garden views:

• Twin Room: 19 m², two single beds, private bathroom, balcony or terrace, breakfast included.

• Double Room: 19 m², double bed, private bathroom, balcony or terrace, breakfast included.

• Wedding Suite: Spacious and romantic, featuring a bathroom with a shower-tub combination, stunning fjord view, breakfast included. 

• Extra Bed & Baby Cot: Extra bed available for NOK 600/night.

• Triple or quadruple rooms are not offered.

Breakfast is included with all bookings. Guests will always have dining options available, at the very least at our own Kafé Marifjøra, located just across the street, offering meals, snacks, and homemade cakes. Dinner is available at our hotel restaurant, though the exact days for 2026 are not yet confirmed. For hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, lunch packs can be prepared at the breakfast buffet for 75 NOK per pack, perfect for a day exploring the fjords.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities:

• Sognefjord: Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, offering breathtaking views, boat trips, SUP boarding and kayaking.Rent kayaks or SUP (Stand-Up Paddle) boards directly at the hotel to explore the fjord. Prior request is required to reserve equipment.

• Hiking & Trekking: Trails for all levels, from beginners to experienced hikers, including a hike directly from the hotel to Molden, offering stunning panoramic views of Lustrafjord and surrounding mountains.

Pets are not allowed at Tørvis Hotell. We kindly ask all guests to respect this policy when booking.
